The Auto Care Association (ACA) is currently in the process of implementing structural updates to its licensing framework. These updates aim to enhance data standardization across the aftermarket industry and establish a more streamlined, reliable system, particularly as they relate to ACES and PIES data usage.

What we know so far:

The ACA has established a dedicated task force to manage these updates and respond to inquiries related to brand registration, licensing, and data subscriptions.
Changes are being made to ensure a more consistent, secure, and scalable system that supports industry-wide data quality.

We appreciate the ACA’s continued efforts to improve aftermarket data management and recognize that these updates are intended to create a better long-term framework. However, we also acknowledge the temporary uncertainty this creates for brands looking to register or update their information.
